Born in Turin, Ingrid Melano graduated from Bocconi University MS Management of Art&Culture. Ingrid began her career as art critic in Milan in 2009 with several freelance collaborations as art editor. She continued, since 2010 as contributing editor for A Magazine (Milan), in 2011 she started as contributing editor for Horst & Edeltraut (Berlin), for which she is managing her column Art Selects, from 2012 to 2013 she collaborated with Dazed Digital (London) for the column Satellite Voices and this year she started contributing for Kaleidoscope (Milan). Ingrid created through TheArtMarkets.com a talent scout program for emerging artists. She is currently monitoring data about well-known contemporary artists’ presence in digital media for research purposes.

Ingrid Melano brought her experience to art fairs (Volta Basel, Artissima Turin), capitals of culture (Turku/Tallinn), and several art galleries such as Santiago y Santiago (Santiago of Chile), Seventeen (London), Umberto di Marino (Naples), Le Case d’Arte (Milan). Today she teams up with the main cultural institutions in Paris spreading their press releases to a wider audience.
