Focus on: Cosima Bucarelli
Young, provocative, creative, Cosima Bucarelli is one of the most googled girls at the moment. After completing a BTEC Foundation Degree in Art and Design at London Metropolitan University in 2008, Cosima moved to Berlin, where she currently resides and is due to graduate in Fashion and Design Management at the Akademie Mode und Design.
Cosima Bucarelli is the co-founder of Horst und Edeltraut, the contemporary culture magazine created in 2008 with friend and partner Johanna Moers. But beside that she has other big passions in various fields: editor in chief, great photographer, fashion talent, she collaborated with Sophie Holstein on the cover of Horst und Edeltraut’s second issue. With Manfredi Gioacchini also, a young photographer from Rome, with whom she worked on various projects.
The main challenge for now seems writing her thesis on the relationship between art and fashion, with special focus on how fashion uses art for marketing purposes, and to further develop Horst und Edeltraut’s in a cross media concept. And here we are, tired of the same editorial collaboration, and contents control, officially announcing that the selections of artists and exhibitions made on Mustikka, will directly be published on the magazine, without filters, new meeting point for our expanded creative communities.
